It's bloody cold.

There I was, minding my own business, when I am rousted out by his lordship waving his stick and telling me it's time to get some "bally work done".
So.
Here I am, miles above god only cares where. It's foggy and I am cold. I left my bloody coat in bloody Marakesh. As it transpires, I was actually doing some field work, and had been staking this  particular place out for some time. But no. All gone up in smoke. Oh well.
Time for a cuppa.
Digger.

Successful extraction

Well the mission to Marakesh was a success and the crew member has been successfully removed from the bordello. Not entirely, it must be added, according to his wishes. However as I pay his damn wages he will do as I ask!
Said crew member often disappears for weeks and months on end and I always find him holed up in some dark and dingy bordello. However, I need to gather the crew for some upcoming projects I have lined up.
So far we have a navigator/historian of antiquities, a trainee (essentially a cabin boy at present) and my fixer. He is an invaluable member of the team and gets things done. Sometimes it is better not to ask how and that is often why he may disappear from time to time. I will persuade him to give us some of his tales too. There is one other member I would like to add to the crew but she is a little reluctant at present but I am sure I can provide a little persuasion.
I will give you more detail on the crew soon but for now I need to get this infernal machine recharged.

A brief introduction

Welcome to the information site for the GLE.
We may be recruiting for crew members from time to time to serve on the Marlin III so be sure to check back. We also have women on the crew but we decided not to change the name. What is the point of developing a reputation if you change the name?

We are not recruiting at the moment but we are open to offers of suitable enterprise, any that I deem worthy of undertaking use have suitable recompense which we can discuss at a later time when I return from collecting a crew member who is trying to avoid the royal dirigible corps at present.

I am not known for my rambling prose suffice to say that I will be telling more about the LGE's members, previous expeditions / undertakings, the Marlin III and anything else that is pertinent soon.
